Aileen is SUPER pumped for her first year at camp, and is excited to meet so many amazing students!

Brian Cole -Counselor
My name is Brian Cole. The greatest accomplishments in my life are my marriage to my beautiful wife Suzan, and being a father to my children, Spencer and Anna. It was Anna who introduced me to Students Run Philly Style. Anna (now a sophomore at Central High School) started running with SRPS when she was in 6th grade at Mayfair Elementary School. One practice, in an act of fatherly love, or sheer lunacy (I know not which) I decided to offer my moral support to my daughter in a 7 mile run. In the literal sense, I went from the couch to being a long distance runner. It was the beginning of two great relationships. First, with my team (Team Mayfair,) and especially our husband and wife running leaders, Kerry and Eve Lubin. They have become like a second family to my daughter and I could not be prouder. The second relationship is with the SRPS organization. Running long distance is the craziest thing I have ever done in my life. Never could I have pictured myself running 10 miles down Broad Street or finishing a half-marathon. But, the infectious, positive attitude at the helm of this organization makes you believe you can accomplish anything. Lauren, Michael, Andy and Ieshia make me so thankful I can wear the Blue and Green.

Chris Pilla - Counselor
Christopher Pilla is a 10 year running leader with Students Run Philly Style and currently runs with Science Leadership Academy at Beeber. He works as electrical engineer at Lockheed Martin and lives in the Fishtown/Kensington area. Besides distance running, Chris enjoys triathlon as well. Once upon a time he completed in 31 races in a year (5Ks, triathlons, marathons, etc) just to see if his body would break. It did not. Chris's favorite part of camp is introducing new campers to the overnight/outdoor experience.

Originally from the Jersey Shore, Mrs. Wright loves the beach – especially when she gets the chance to do sand workouts with her older brother, or ride bikes on the boardwalk with her parents. She is a graduate of Ursinus College, where she was a dancer, cheerleader, and student body president. In 2016 she started running with her Siberian Husky puppy, Zeke. Now, she thoroughly enjoys hanging out with her students, running in their neighborhood and around Philadelphia.
